  15. I'm interested in a 28.8 modem for a Mac (LC 575). I've been using a 
  16. LineLink 144e for a couple of years with generally good results, but 
  17. 14.4 is too sluggish for the Web. I'm seeking suggestions.

  19. The SupraExpress 288 has an attractive price ($159.95 in MacWarehouse).

  21. But the Global Village TelePort Platinum 28.8 V.34 ($209.95) is 
  22. intriguing because of GlobalFax OCR software.

  24. Finally, does anyone have an opinion on this OCR software. I've heard 
  25. good things about the Xerox OCR software, but am not familiar with 
  26. Global's. OCR would be very helpful in our desktop publishing business.
